Margaret + Karan | Chicago Wedding | Trysh Jaeger Photography | American + Indian Wedding | Biagios

This is the moment everyone has been waiting for… mind blowing news! Run! Don’t Walk to TJ Maxx! They are now offering a BRIDAL line in some stores. Margaret bought this stunning dress from TJ Maxx! This dress had a vintage feel and was so light and sparkly! One of my favorite parts of the whole day was watching her spin around in it.

Every single thing about Margaret & Karan’s wedding was special. They are an incredible couple and the energy that surrounds them is electric. Every single person there could feel their love and happiness and everyone came to PARTY!

Some unique things about their wedding were incorporating both cultures into their ceremony. Although they had a traditional Catholic mass at the beautiful Saint Ignatius in Chicago, they placed Mala (flower leis) on each other as a Hindi tradition symbolizing the commencement of the wedding ceremony, symbolizing the joy and excitement of the upcoming union.

Since both Margaret and Karan only have one sister each, their sisters served as “Bride’s Maid of Honor” and “Groom’s Maid of Honor” and not only stood by their sides all day, they both gave tear jerking speeches reiterating what amazing people Margaret and Karan are.

Biagio’s on Central served as the perfect backdrop (and also has a BEAUTIFUL remodel with a stylish industrial feel) for the non-stop dancing and packed dance floor. DJ Ruki at DreamHouse Productions did an incredible job of mixing new American dance music with Bollywood style music all night.
